🔍 Position: Detection & Response Engineer

📍 Location: Business Bay, Dubai - UAE

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆:

In this role, you’ll design and tune high-fidelity detections, harden security baselines, and lead critical incident investigations from containment through root-cause analysis. You’ll play a key role in reducing false positives, accelerating response time, and strengthening our detection coverage against evolving TTPs.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

• Build and refine SIEM/XDR detections using Sigma, KQL, and SPL.

• Parse and normalize telemetry across Windows, M365/OAuth, AWS, and Azure.

• Lead Priority-1 incident response — containment, eradication, and recovery.

• Automate and enforce security baselines with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Conduct replay testing, audit controls, and measure FP/FN performance.

Collaborate with threat intel and publish internal guidance to improve detection maturity.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Security Operations, Detection Engineering, or Incident Response roles.

• Hands-on experience with DFIR triage (memory, disk, network artefacts).

• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.

• Strong communication skills — technical and executive reporting.

• Experience with AWS/Azure, SIEM pipelines, and IaC tools.

🎯 Bonus Points

GIAC GCDA, GCIH, Microsoft SC-200, or AWS Security Specialty certifications.
