About the Role:

We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Draftsman to join our dynamic team on an immediate basis. This is a critical short-term role for an initial one-month period, which is likely to be extended based on project needs and performance. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in producing high-quality structural drawings for a variety of construction projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce detailed structural drawings, plans, sections, and details using AutoCAD for reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry structures.
Work closely with Structural Engineers to translate design concepts and calculations into precise, buildable technical drawings.
Review and redmark drawings, ensuring all revisions are accurately incorporated.
Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and relevant UAE authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality).
Coordinate drafting efforts with other disciplines (Architectural, MEP) to identify and resolve clashes.
Assist in the preparation of drawing submittals for client and authority approvals.
Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for the project.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior draftsmen, ensuring quality and consistency across all deliverables.

Mandatory Requirements:

UAE Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years of proven experience as a Structural Draftsman within the UAE construction industry is essential.
Visa Status: Must possess your own visa.
Family Sponsorship is acceptable.
If on an Employment Visa, a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current sponsor is mandatory for application.
Software Expertise: Extensive and proven proficiency in AutoCAD is non-negotiable. Experience with AutoCAD Structural Detailing is a significant advantage.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural drafting principles, construction techniques, and standard practices. Familiarity with international and local (UAE) building codes and standards.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

A diploma or certification in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free work.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proactive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
