Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
1. Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Licensing and Certifications:
- Valid UAE Small Vessel Captain's License (12M).
- STCW Certification for passenger safety and first aid.
- RYA or other relevant maritime certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
3. Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a captain on a similar-sized or larger passenger vessel.
- Experience providing transportation services, especially in community or hospitality settings.
4. Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (mandatory); Arabic is an advantage.
- Medical fitness certificate for maritime operators.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UAE maritime laws and Mina Al Arab community guidelines
- Valid UAE residency visa or work permit.
- Medical fitness certificate for seafarers.
- Transportation and accommodation under Supplier responsibility
