Job Summary:
The Assistant Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager supports the F&B Manager in overseeing daily operations of restaurants, bars, banquets, and other food service outlets. This role ensures high-quality service, efficient operations, and guest satisfaction while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Assist in managing daily F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets.
- Ensure smooth service delivery, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to meet budget goals.
- Assist in scheduling staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
2. Customer Service & Guest Satisfaction:
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Train staff on customer service best practices to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Gather and analyze guest feedback to implement service improvements.
3. Staff Supervision & Training:
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising F&B staff (servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, etc.).
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve team efficiency.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
4. Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations (e.g., HACCP, local health codes).
- Monitor food handling, storage, and preparation to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist in implementing company policies and procedures.
5. Financial & Administrative Duties:
- Help manage budgets, control costs, and minimize waste.
- Assist in preparing reports on sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Handle cash management, POS systems, and billing procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in F&B operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
