Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist with 1-2 years of UAE experience to manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WPS (Wage Protection System), EOSG (End of Service Gratuity), grievances, and other payroll-related functions while adhering to UAE labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing:
- Prepare and process monthly payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Handle overtime, bonuses, deductions, allowances, and other payroll components.
- Ensure compliance with WPS (Wage Protection System) regulations.
- End of Service Benefits (EOSG):
- Calculate and process gratuity, leave encashment, and other EOSG payments as per UAE labor law.
- Resolve discrepancies related to final settlements.
- Employee Grievances & Queries:
- Address payroll-related employee concerns and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain clear communication with HR and employees regarding payroll matters.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to UAE labor laws, WPS, and company policies.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports, including WPS submissions, payroll registers, and bank files.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll.
- Record Keeping & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including attendance, leave, and deductions.
- Update employee payroll data (new hires, terminations, salary adjustments).
- Coordination with Stakeholders:
- Liaise with HR, Finance, and banks for smooth payroll processing.
- Collaborate with PRO for visa-related salary adjustments, labor contracts, and immigration compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1-2 years of UAE payroll experience (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of WPS, UAE labor law, EOSG, and payroll best practices.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Bayzat, etc.) and Excel.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data.
- Strong problem-solving skills for payroll discrepancies.
- Good communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Payroll/Accounting/HR is a plus.
- Experience in multi-company payroll processing.
