Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Accountant to manage the financial affairs of the Managing Director (MD). The ideal candidate should be fluent in Gujarati (as the MD prefers Gujarati communication) and possess strong accounting, bookkeeping, and financial management skills. The role involves handling personal and business-related financial transactions, tax planning, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management & Bookkeeping:
- Maintain and manage the MD’s personal and business-related financial records.
- Handle bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage invoices, receipts, and payment processing.
2. Tax & Compliance:
- Ensure timely filing of personal and business tax returns (ITR, GST, TDS, etc.).
- Liaise with CA/auditors for tax planning and compliance.
- Stay updated with financial laws and regulations to ensure adherence.
3. Investment & Wealth Management:
- Assist in investment tracking, portfolio management, and financial planning.
- Monitor stock market investments, mutual funds, and other assets.
- Provide insights on tax-saving investment options.
4. Banking & Transactions:
- Manage bank accounts, credit cards, and loan-related documentation.
- Coordinate with banks for transactions, FD renewals, and loan processing.
- Handle fund transfers, bill payments, and reimbursements.
5. Budgeting & Expense Control:
- Prepare personal and household budgets.
- Track monthly expenses and suggest cost-saving measures.
- Review credit card statements and expense reports.
6. Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data.
- Assist in property/asset management (if applicable).
- Handle adhoc financial tasks as required by the MD.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter/CMA preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years in personal accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Tally, Excel, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
- Language: Fluent in Gujarati (mandatory) + English/Hindi.
- Soft Skills: Trustworthy, discreet, detail-oriented, and proactive.
