Assistant Winding Technician
Job Summary:
An Assistant Winding Technician supports the Winding Technicians in their daily tasks. This is typically an entry-level or apprentice role focused on learning the trade and performing basic, supervised winding activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the disassembly and cleaning of motors and generators.
- Prepare materials and tools for the winding process.
- Perform basic winding tasks under close supervision.
- Apply insulation materials and assist with varnishing and baking processes.
- Learn to operate winding machines and testing equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop area.
- Adhere to all safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma; enrollment in or completion of a relevant technical program is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and develop a specialized skill set.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully.
