Job Summary:
We are seeking a specialized Pipe Fabricator with a focus on HVAC piping systems. This role is critical for the fabrication and installation of both chilled water and refrigerant piping, which form the backbone of modern HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chilled Water Piping: Fabricate and install chilled water piping systems for Fan Coil Units (FCUs) and Air Handling Units (AHUs). This includes cutting, grooving, threading, and assembling GI/Black Steel pipes, and installing valves, pumps, and accessories.
- Copper Piping: Skillfully fabricate and install copper refrigerant piping for VRF and Split AC systems. Tasks include cutting, bending, brazing/soldering, and pressure testing.
- Insulation: Ensure all chilled water and refrigerant pipes are properly insulated as per specifications to prevent condensation and energy loss.
- Fabrication: Pre-fabricate pipe spools and assemblies in the workshop as per isometric drawings for efficient site installation.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain high standards of workmanship in all joints and assemblies. Adhere to all safety protocols, especially for hot works like brazing.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience specifically in chilled water and copper piping for HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in brazing, threading, and grooving techniques.
- Ability to read piping isometric drawings.
- Knowledge of different pipe materials, fittings, and supports.
