We are partnering with a prestigious sovereign wealth fund in Abu Dhabi to hire an experienced Accountant for their Payroll. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of all payroll-related financial operations within a multicultural and dynamic environment.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

- Oversee the accurate and timely execution of all payroll functions, including salaries, benefits, allowances, loans, and deductions, ensuring alignment with internal HR policies and employment contracts.

- Take full ownership of reconciling payroll accounts, preparing journal entries, investigating discrepancies, and producing detailed payroll, travel, and expense reports for management review.

- Manage all UAE-specific requirements, including the calculation and processing of pension contributions for National/GCC employees and the accurate computation of end-of-service (EOSB) and final settlements.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗔𝗿𝗲:

- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Mandatory).

- Professional qualification (CA, CPA, or ACCA) is highly preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive payroll and accounting experience, with a solid understanding of UAE labor law, EOSB, and pension schemes.

- Advanced proficiency in payroll/accounting systems (Oracle preferred)

- Excellent command of English (C2 level); Arabic is an advantage.

- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive data with complete confidentiality.
