Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and promptly.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other local financial laws.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions as needed.
- Utilize accounting software and MS Excel efficiently to maintain financial data.
- Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients or partners, utilizing Chabacano language skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Nationality: Must be of Filipino nationality.
- Language: Must be fluent in Chabacano. This is a mandatory requirement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
