Supervisor – Piping
Vacancies: 69 Nos.
Salary Range: KWD 500 – 600 + OT
Job Summary:
The Piping Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of pipe fitters, fabricators, and welders to execute piping installation, fabrication, and erection activities safely, on time, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, assign, and supervise daily work activities for the piping crew.
- Interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and general arrangement drawings to guide the team.
- Oversee the fabrication, alignment, and installation of pipes, supports, valves, and other components.
- Coordinate with other discipline supervisors (e.g., Civil, Structural, Mechanical) to ensure seamless workflow.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safe work practices and procedures (Permit-to-Work, JSA).
- Monitor work progress and report to the Construction Manager/Foreman, highlighting any issues or delays.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure crew members are aware of their tasks and associated risks.
- Monitor material usage and request materials as needed to avoid work stoppages.
- Perform initial quality checks and ensure work is ready for formal QC inspection.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or ITI Certificate. A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in piping construction, with at least 4-5 years in a supervisory role.
- Extensive knowledge of piping systems, fit-up techniques, and erection sequences.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
