Job Description: Floor Manager
Location: Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai
Venue: New Luxury Latin American Restaurant & Bar
Total Salary: AED 13,000 per month (subject to standard deductions)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned, charismatic, and hands-on Floor Manager to be the beating heart of our service team. You will be the central figure on the floor, ensuring the seamless operation of the restaurant while embodying the warm, energetic, and refined essence of Latin American culture. You are not just a manager; you are a maestro, orchestrating the symphony of service, ambiance, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence & Leadership:
- Oversee all daily floor operations, including lunch, dinner, and special events, ensuring flawless execution from opening to closing.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of servers, hosts, bartenders, and runners to achieve the highest standards of service.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate service goals, menu highlights, and VIP arrivals.
- Manage floor staffing levels, including scheduling, breaks, and section rotations to optimize service flow.
Guest Experience & Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests, handling all inquiries and feedback with professionalism, charm, and swift resolution.
- Proactively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, build loyalty, and create a personal connection that encourages repeat business.
- Manage reservations and optimize table management to maximize covers while maintaining a comfortable and luxurious ambiance.
- Personally welcome and oversee the experience of VIP guests, influencers, and regulars.
Financial & Administrative Acumen:
- Work closely with the General Manager to achieve financial targets, including average check value, covers, and revenue per head.
- Monitor and manage restaurant inventory related to service (linens, glassware, menus, etc.).
- Handle financial transactions, oversee the POS system, and ensure accurate end-of-day reporting.
- Control operational costs without compromising on the guest experience.
Quality & Standards:
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation standards set by Dubai Municipality and company policy.
- Maintain the pristine presentation of the dining room, bar, and terrace at all times.
- Uphold extensive product knowledge of the food menu, wine list, and signature cocktails to guide guests and train the team.
- Implement and maintain the service standards and sequence of service as defined by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a floor management or similar supervisory role within a high-volume, luxury restaurant or 5-star hotel.
- Proven experience in a fine-dining or upscale casual environment is essential.
- Impeccable personal presentation and exceptional communication skills in English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
- Strong financial and business acumen with experience in POS systems (e.g., Micros, Lightspeed) and reservation platforms (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable).
- A natural leader with the ability to inspire a team, resolve conflicts, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of international guest expectations, particularly in the competitive Dubai market.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
