Job Description: Bar Manager
Location: Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai
Venue: New Luxury Latin American Restaurant & Bar
Total Salary: AED 15,000 per month (subject to standard deductions)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar program to excellence. You are more than a manager; you are a curator of experiences, a leader of innovators, and the guardian of our liquid artistry. This role demands a perfect blend of creative passion, operational excellence, and business acumen to build a bar that sets new standards in Dubai's competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership & Beverage Program:
- Design, develop, and continuously innovate a world-class beverage program that reflects the spirit of Latin America, featuring signature cocktails, a curated spirits selection, and an exceptional wine & champagne list.
- Lead the creation of unique, high-quality cocktails using premium ingredients, house-made infusions, and innovative techniques.
- Source and manage relationships with suppliers and distilleries to secure the best and most exclusive products.
- Ensure consistent execution and presentation of every drink, maintaining the highest standards of quality and visual appeal.
Operational & Financial Management:
- Oversee all bar operations, including inventory management, cost control, stock rotation, and ordering to achieve target pour costs and profitability.
- Manage the bar's profit and loss statement (P&L), develop budgets, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and average spend per cover.
- Implement and maintain efficient bar systems and procedures, from mise en place to closing reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as Dubai's legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
Team Development & Leadership:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a team of talented bartenders and barbacks, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular training sessions on mixology, product knowledge, service standards, and cocktail presentation.
- Create and manage the bar team schedule, ensuring optimal staffing levels for all services and events.
Guest Experience & Ambiance:
- Act as the charismatic host of the bar, engaging with guests, building relationships with regulars, and ensuring an unforgettable experience for every visitor.
- Train the team to provide engaging, knowledgeable, and flawless service that matches the luxury standard of the venue.
- Maintain the aesthetic and operational standards of the bar area, ensuring it is visually stunning and functionally perfect at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a bar management or head bartender role within a high-volume, luxury cocktail bar, 5-star hotel, or upscale restaurant.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing a successful, creative beverage program.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, mixology, wine, and champagne, with a passion for Latin American spirits (Mezcal, Pisco, Cachaça, Ron), is a significant advantage.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in inventory management, cost control, and bar profitability analysis.
- Impeccable personal presentation and exceptional communication skills in English. Proficiency in Spanish is a highly desirable asset.
- A natural, hands-on leader with the ability to inspire, train, and motivate a team under pressure.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
