Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Tipper Truck Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials (such as sand, gravel, and demolition waste) to and from various construction and project sites across Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a tipper truck in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and traffic laws.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle (e.g., check oil, water, tires, brakes, lights) to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Transport loose materials to specified locations as directed by the site supervisor or dispatcher.
- Ensure the truck is properly loaded and that loads are securely covered, if required, to prevent spillage during transit.
- Tip and unload materials safely and precisely at the designated sites.
- Complete and submit daily log sheets, delivery documentation, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Maintain communication with the dispatch team using provided mobile phones or radios.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning, and report any mechanical issues or defects immediately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site and on the road.
- Represent Star Services L.L.C. in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must-Have: A valid UAE heavy vehicle driver's license.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Tipper Truck Driver, preferably within the UAE.
- Reliable, Punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic.
- Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi's roads and traffic regulations.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job, including long driving hours.
- No major traffic violations on driving record.
