Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse inventory to fulfill customer and distribution center orders. Your precision and efficiency will be critical in ensuring the timely and correct shipment of goods, directly impacting our customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack products from warehouse shelves based on pick lists and customer orders.
- Operate handheld scanners and utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage inventory and track orders.
- Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy and product integrity.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Adhere strictly to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Assist in receiving and put-away of new inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping targets.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to a supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience as a warehouse picker or operator.
- Industry Preference: Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanning devices.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good verbal communication and strong teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods; capable of lifting up to [Specify Weight, e.g., 50 lbs] regularly.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
