Position: Qualified Electrician
Location: Bielsko-Biała, Poland
Start Date: As Soon As Possible (ASAP)
Contract Duration: 3 months (initial period, with a high likelihood of extension)
Working Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week
Job Overview:
We are urgently seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join a project in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This is a full-time, contract-based role with strong potential for long-term extension based on project needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with Polish and EU standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure safety and functionality.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols on-site.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople.
- Provide reliable and professional workmanship to meet project deadlines.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Valid Qualifications: Must hold relevant electrical certifications (Polish qualifications or recognized EU equivalents).
- Legal Right to Work:
- EU Passport (citizens of an EU member state).
- OR Valid Polish work visa and residency permit.
- UK Passports are NOT accepted for this role due to post-Brexit work regulations.
- Language: Good communication skills. Proficiency in Polish is a significant advantage for on-site coordination and understanding local regulations.
- Experience: Proven experience as an electrician, preferably on industrial or commercial projects.
- Availability: Able to start work immediately and commit to the 3-month contract with possible extension.
Preferred Candidate Profile (As indicated by the client):
- Local labour is strongly preferred. Candidates already residing in or near the Śląskie region (Silesian Voivodeship) or Bielsko-Biała itself are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with local Polish electrical codes, suppliers, and standard practices.
