Job Summary:
The 3 Ton Recovery Driver is responsible for operating a 3-ton recovery vehicle to transport broken-down, damaged, or impounded vehicles safely to designated locations. The role requires strong driving skills, knowledge of vehicle recovery procedures, and strict adherence to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate 3-ton recovery trucks to transport vehicles.
- Recover, tow, and safely load vehicles from accident sites, breakdowns, or impound areas.
- Inspect the recovery vehicle and equipment before use to ensure safety.
- Secure vehicles properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain delivery and recovery logs, including incident reports.
- Follow traffic rules, safety standards, and departmental policies.
- Coordinate with supervisors, dispatch, and roadside assistance teams.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
