Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, customer-focused Electric Buggy Driver/Operator to transport passengers safely within Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The candidate will operate electric passenger buggies, assist passengers, and provide professional customer service while strictly following airport safety and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and operate electric passenger buggies safely within the airport.
- Transport passengers between designated terminal areas.
- Follow airport driving rules, designated routes, and speed limits.
- Drive defensively and ensure passenger safety and comfort at all times.
- Assist elderly passengers, children and PRM/passengers with reduced mobility.
- Conduct daily pre-operation and safety checks on the buggy.
- Report vehicle faults, damage or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to passengers.
- Assist passengers with directions and information about airport facilities.
- Report incidents, accidents, delays and unattended items to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of the buggy.
- Coordinate with airport operations teams and supervisors.
- Attend required driver, safety and customer-service training.
- Work on a 24/7 shift rota, including weekends and public holidays.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of driving, customer service, hospitality, aviation or transportation experience.
- A valid UAE or home-country driving licence is required.
- Previous experience driving passenger vehicles, buggies, carts, or similar vehicles is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of safe driving practices.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused and professional attitude.
- Good patience and ability to assist passengers from different backgrounds.
- High level of safety awareness and responsibility.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends,s and public holidays.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, ty and flexibility.
