JOB DESCRIPTION:
- 3D & Design Interpretation: Collaborate with the design team to review 3D models and designs,
ensuring materials and finishes are selected based on the visual and functional intent of the
project.
- Develop Specifications: Translate 3D designs and architectural drawings into detailed material
specifications, ensuring they are aligned with company standards and project requirements.
- Sample Management: Oversee the selection, preparation, and approval of material samples,
ensuring they are packed and shipped in accordance with Company standards to prevent damage during
transit and storage.
- Ensure Design Compliance: Verify that the materials and samples are aligned with the approved
3D designs and meet both aesthetic and technical criteria set by the project.
- Budget Consideration: Work closely with the procurement and finance teams to ensure that all
selected materials meet the project’s design and functionality requirements while staying within
the allocated budget.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to source materials, ensuring they adhere to company
quality standards and are delivered on time. Evaluate supplier proposals for cost, quality, and
compliance with project specifications.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all materials used on-site meet company standards, including performance,
durability, and safety requirements, and are installed according to the design specifications.
- Site Inspection: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that materials are installed correctly and
conform to the 3D design specifications and company standards.
- Mock-ups and Testing: Coordinate the testing and approval of material mock-ups to ensure they
meet design and specification requirements before full implementation.
- Sustainability Focus: Promote the use of eco-friendly materials in line with the project’s
sustainability goals and company guidelines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 5-6 years of UAE experience in FF&E design within the interior fit-out industry.
- Strong experience in residential projects is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, and other design tools.
- Strong knowledge of materials, furniture, and fixtures, with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
