The provision of excellent knowledge and may influence the process strategy to drive implementing and maintaining all internal practices, accounting and financial controls systems and processes. This is to ensure high quality delivery of process activity and the achievement of the organisation’s goals to run the company process in compliance manner following automation and digitisation.
Focuses upon planning activities related to design, development, implementation and maintenance of Vodafone Oman process programme for accounting and financial controls systems.
Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robotic process automation solutions to streamline and optimize business processes.
The role holder should support the integration process required to implement the required level of control and compliance across Vodafone Oman business units that is linked directly or indirectly to Finance overall processes.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- RPA Solution Development: Analyze, design, develop, and deploy automation solutions using RPA tools and technologies to automate repetitive and rule-based tasks across various business functions.
- Process Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify potential process automation opportunities and evaluate their suitability for automation. Conduct process assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Requirement Gathering: Work closely with end-users and subject matter experts to gather detailed process requirements, understanding business rules and system interactions for successful automation implementation.
- Technical Implementation: Configure, test, and implement RPA bots to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the automation process.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the performance of RPA solutions and identify areas for optimization and enhancement. Proactively suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of RPA processes, including process flow diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing of RPA solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to business requirements. Implement necessary changes based on test results.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption and usage of RPA solutions.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that RPA solutions are developed and maintained in compliance with security and data protection guidelines. Take appropriate measures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Process Automation Governance: Adhere to automation best practices and ensure compliance with established governance standards and policies.
- Stay Up-to-date: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in RPA technology and process automation. Share knowledge and insights with the team to promote innovation and continuous improvement.
- Control Weakness Monitoring: Assists and advises the team on control weakness using advanced analytical thought / tools.
- Internal process framework: To maintain a regular internal process health and compliance check mechanism by developing the required framework and timeframe for all Finance business unit processes review.
- Continuous Improvement: Check and seek business continuous improvement, compliance, internal control and automation opportunities for Finance business unit and maintain the same in place through the right applicable documentation and make sure the same is embedded within the company ERP system.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven 5-7 years work experience as an RPA Specialist or similar role, with a track record of successful RPA implementation and process automation for finance business unit including Finance operations, supply chain management and finance planning and analysis.
- RPA Tools: Proficiency in working with popular RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or others.
- Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in languages like C#, VB.NET, Python, or Java, as well as experience with database technologies.
- Considerable Knowledge of IFRS, Management accounts, supply chain management, budgeting and planning and analysis.
