Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Motor Winders to join our dynamic team. As a Motor Winder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality rewinds on AC/DC motors and conducting electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment installations. Your expertise will ensure that motors function optimally, contributing to the reliability of critical machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strictly follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform rewinds of electric motors, stators, and armatures to company standards.
- Inspect and diagnose equipment failures, offering expert solutions.
- Provide accurate assessments of parts and labor required for repairs.
- Recommend process improvements to increase equipment reliability.
- Document and report all repair activities and data in a timely manner.
- Expertly handle winding connections, insulation processes, and welding/soldering techniques.
- Operate testing equipment such as Baker, PdMA, Core Tester, and Infrared Cameras for motor diagnostics.
- Collect, verify, and record data to ensure accuracy in repairs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in winding AC/DC electric motors (random and form coil) including stators, armatures, and field frames.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in motor repairs.
- Highly motivated and able to manage tasks independently, with strong attention to detail.
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Proficient with basic computer tasks (for data entry and report generation).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
