Note: Job location is in Dubai. A full relocation pacakage will be provided by the employer.

Food Preparation: Assist with basic tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients according to the Chef’s instructions. Help prepare garnishes, salads, sauces, or other simple kitchen tasks.

Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure kitchen workstations, tools, and equipment are clean and organized. This includes washing dishes, utensils, and cookware, and ensuring that all areas are free of clutter and sanitized.

Assisting with Cooking: Help senior kitchen staff with cooking basic items and following recipes. You may be assigned to handle simpler tasks under supervision, such as cooking vegetables, preparing stock, or working on simple dishes.

Basic Cooking Techniques: Learn and practice basic cooking techniques, such as boiling, sautéing, and steaming, while under the supervision of more experienced chefs.

Stock Handling: Assist in the storage of ingredients, ensuring they are properly labeled, rotated, and stored according to food safety standards.

Hygiene and Safety: Follow strict hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen. Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and free of hazards to maintain a safe environment.

Team Support: Provide general support to other team members, including senior chefs and cooks, by being proactive, asking for tasks, and helping wherever needed.

Learning and Development: Take every opportunity to learn from the more senior members of the kitchen team. Develop a basic understanding of the kitchen’s operation and organization.
