Role Summary:

As an OPD Nurse at SEHA, you will be the first clinical point of contact for patients attending various specialist clinics. Your role is pivotal in ensuring efficient clinic flow, delivering compassionate ambulatory care, and providing clear communication in Tagalog and English. You will support physicians and provide direct nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs, history taking, and symptom screening.
Prepare patients for physician examinations, ensuring they are informed and comfortable.
Assist physicians with minor procedures and treatments within the clinic.
Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and wound dressings as per physician orders.
Provide comprehensive patient education in Tagalog and English on disease management, medication, and home care.
Manage patient phone inquiries, triage calls, and provide accurate health information.
Ensure all examination rooms are stocked, clean, and equipped for procedures.
Coordinate patient referrals, follow-up appointments, and diagnostic testing.
Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records for all patient interactions.
Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols within the clinic environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Valid nursing license & BSN or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an Outpatient Department, Polyclinic, or Ambulatory Care setting.
Fluency in Tagalog and English is mandatory.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills for handling high patient volume.
Strong patient education and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-specialty clinic team.
Proficient in basic nursing procedures and patient monitoring.
