Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Draftsman with over 2 years of experience to create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans for HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other drafting software and a strong understanding of HVAC design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed HVAC drawings, including ductwork layouts, piping diagrams, and equipment plans.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications and codes.
Review and modify drawings based on feedback from clients, engineers, and contractors.
Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local building codes.
Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist in material estimation.
Maintain organized project documentation and revisions.
Work with 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit MEP) for BIM projects (if applicable).

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
2+ years of experience in HVAC drafting (residential/commercial projects).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar software.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, duct sizing, and load calculations.
Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and building codes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred (But Not Required):

Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
Knowledge of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) for airflow analysis.
Certification in AutoCAD/Revit.
