Position: Dental Assistant (Experienced)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Schedule: 5 days a week (with 2 consecutive days off)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our clinical team. You will play a key role in supporting our dentists, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and most importantly, making every patient—especially children—feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Chairside Assistance: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring efficiency and adherence to infection control protocols.
Patient Care & Comfort: Greet patients warmly, help alleviate anxiety (particularly for pediatric patients), and explain procedures in a gentle, reassuring manner. Monitor patient comfort throughout their visit.
Radiology & Diagnostics: Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays (radiographs) as prescribed by the dentist.
Clinical Support: Perform basic lab tasks, take accurate dental impressions, manage inventory of dental supplies, and ensure all equipment is maintained and operational.
Administrative Duties: Schedule appointments, maintain accurate patient records, and manage patient flow to optimize the daily schedule.
Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with dentists, hygienists, and front office staff to ensure a cohesive, positive, and professional practice environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Mandatory Licensing: A valid DHA License / Eligibility Letter as a Dental Assistant is required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant within a clinical setting in the UAE. Applicants without UAE experience will not be considered.
Pediatric Passion: A genuine love for working with children and a proven ability to create a positive, fun, and comforting dental experience for young patients.
Professional Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in dental software and general computer skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of infection control and sterilization practices.
