About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations, and contributing to the financial health and efficiency of our business. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including daily bookkeeping and reconciliations.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes efficiently.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including filing returns and preparing FTA Audit Files (FAF).
Prepare and submit UAE Corporate Tax returns (knowledge/experience is an advantage).
Generate periodic financial reports for management review.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Utilize Tally accounting software for all accounting entries, reporting, and financial data management.
Handle VAT setup, issue VAT-compliant invoices, and prepare FTA reports as required.
Ensure adherence to UAE accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
Manage deadlines effectively and prioritize tasks to meet reporting and compliance timelines.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills in managing financial documents and records.
Communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally, with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the travel/tourism industry.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, filing procedures, and FTA Audit Files (FAF).
Familiarity with UAE Corporate Tax is an advantage.
Mandatory proficiency in Tally accounting software.
Experience with VAT setup, VAT invoices, and FTA reporting.
Solid understanding of the UAE accounting system and statutory compliance requirements.
High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage tight deadlines.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
