We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, reporting, and compliance within a dynamic contracting and steel industry environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UAE or GCC accounting practices and a strong understanding of construction-related financial operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
Monitor accounts payable and receivable
Process supplier payments and follow up on client collections

Reporting & Compliance

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist in VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
Support external and internal audits
Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures

Project & Cost Accounting

Track project costs and monitor budget utilization
Reconcile project expenses and prepare cost analysis reports
Coordinate with project managers regarding financial status

Bank & Cash Management

Perform bank reconciliations
Manage petty cash and cash flow monitoring
Coordinate with banks for transactions and documentation

🔹 Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
2–5 years of accounting experience in UAE or GCC
Experience in construction or steel industry preferred
Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability
