Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary

A Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in manufacturing or production processes. The role ensures machines run efficiently, safely, and produce high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

Operate machines and equipment according to instructions and standard procedures
Set up machines before production and adjust settings as required
Load raw materials and monitor machine operations
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines
Identify and report machine faults or breakdowns
Follow safety guidelines and workplace regulations
Maintain production records and report output to supervisors
Assist in troubleshooting minor technical issues
Ensure efficient use of materials and reduce wastage

Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical (preferred)
Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment
Basic knowledge of machinery and production processes
Ability to read and understand technical instructions
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Physical stamina and ability to work in shifts
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions

Work in factories, workshops, or production units
May involve standing for long hours
Shift work (day/night) depending on production needs
Exposure to machinery noise and industrial environment
