Job Overview:
The HR Manager will be a pivotal leader, responsible for developing and executing HR strategies across the entire group of companies. This role requires a hands-on, strategic professional who can oversee all aspects of Human Resources, from recruitment and talent management to compliance and organizational development. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to senior management, ensuring our HR initiatives are fully aligned with our overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the group’s vision and business goals.
- Partner with senior leadership across portfolio companies to provide expert HR guidance and support.
- Lead organizational development initiatives, including change management, succession planning, and team restructuring.
Talent Acquisition & Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for all group companies, ensuring the attraction and selection of high-caliber talent.
- Develop and manage a robust performance management system to drive high performance and employee development.
- Create and implement talent management strategies, including career pathing, retention programs, and leadership development.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as a primary point of contact for complex employee relations issues, providing effective and compassionate solutions.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment across all companies.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action plans.
Compliance & Policy Development:
- Ensure 100% compliance with the Bahrain Labour Law and all other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook for the entire group.
- Manage and mitigate HR-related risks.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Oversee the group’s compensation and benefits structure, ensuring competitiveness and equity.
- Manage the payroll process in coordination with the finance department.
HR Operations:
- Oversee all HR administrative functions and maintain accurate employee records.
- Utilize HR Information Systems (HRIS) to streamline processes and provide data-driven insights.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a strong advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in an HR Management role, preferably within a holding company or a complex, multi-entity organization.
- In-depth, proven knowledge of Bahrain Labour Law and its practical application in the workplace.
