Job Overview:
This senior leadership role based in Kochi involves managing and overseeing outsourced audit and assurance operations for international clients. The manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and compliant audit services from our offshore center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of outsourced audit engagements for a portfolio of international clients.
- Lead, train, and develop a large team of audit professionals, ensuring productivity and quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for onshore engagement partners, managing expectations and communications.
- Review audit work papers, financial statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance the efficiency and scalability of the outsourced function.
- Ensure all operations adhere to the firm's global risk management and quality control policies.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent international qualification (CPA, ACCA).
- Significant post-qualification experience in audit and assurance, with substantial experience in managing outsourced/offshore operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Excellent client relationship management and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage large teams and complex projects.
