We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Lead to manage and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations from a consolidated hub in Mombasa. The role will support manufacturing, domestic distribution across Kenya, and export markets, ensuring high service levels, strong cost control, and full compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead warehouse, inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment operations
-Manage domestic distribution and export logistics (imports & exports)
-Oversee transportation planning, carrier selection, and freight negotiations
-Drive demand planning and supply alignment with Sales & Marketing
-Ensure inventory accuracy, ERP (Oracle preferred) compliance, and pricing controls
-Manage regulatory, quality, and HSSE compliance
-Lead and develop a team of 20–30 employees and third-party logistics partners
-Drive continuous improvement and supply chain cost optimization
Mandatory Requirements:
Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:
-Lubricant industry experience is mandatory
-Proven experience handling both domestic and export markets
-Strong expertise in Transportation & Logistics
-Exposure to MNC-level supply chain operations, including control, compliance, and demand planning
Candidate Profile:
-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
-10 to 12 years of supply chain leadership experience
-Strong international exposure (Africa experience is an advantage but not mandatory)
