Payroll Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Up to €36,000 (pro-rata if applicable)

The Role:
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our busy construction team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of weekly/monthly payroll for a multi-site workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and monthly payroll for employees, including site operatives and office staff.
- Handle statutory deductions (PAYE, PRSI, USC), pension contributions, and other deductions.
- Manage timesheets, overtime, allowances, and expenses.
- Ensure compliance with relevant revenue and employment legislation.
- Address employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end routines.
- Maintain accurate payroll records.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a payroll position is a significant advantage.
- High accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitive data.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with payroll software and Excel.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
