Salary: Up to AED 8,000 per month (full package, inclusive of all allowances)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing IT infrastructure. You will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools (Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, Active Directory, etc.).
- Network Support: Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and network security (firewalls, VPNs). Assist with troubleshooting network performance issues.
- Cloud & Virtualization: Manage and administer cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, or AWS) and virtualized environments.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security tools, perform regular security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and ensure systems are patched and updated.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Manage and test backup solutions and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Monitoring & Performance: Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Technical Support: Provide 2nd/3rd level technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues. Create and maintain detailed system documentation.
- Project Participation: Participate in IT infrastructure projects, including new deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a System Engineer, Network Administrator, or similar role.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing).
- Experience with backup and recovery software (Veeam, Acronis, etc.).
- Knowledge of firewall and security concepts (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA is a plus).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a strong advantage.
- Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, CCNA, CompTIA Server+, or similar.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
