Job Purpose
The HR Manager will be responsible for leading, developing, and implementing comprehensive human resources strategies and frameworks that align with Fujairah International Airport’s mission, vision, and business objectives. This role will oversee all HR functions, foster a positive and productive work environment, and ensure the airport attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the airport’s operational goals and long-term growth.
- Align HR practices with organizational objectives, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and international best practices.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on HR-related matters, including workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
2. Talent Acquisition and Management
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes to attract and hire high-caliber talent for various roles within the airport.
- Develop and implement employer branding strategies to enhance the airport’s reputation as an employer of choice.
- Manage onboarding programs to ensure new employees integrate smoothly into the organization.
3. Employee Relations and Engagement
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, fairness, and inclusivity.
- Address employee grievances, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, surveys, and team-building activities.
4. Performance Management
- Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee productivity and development.
- Provide guidance to managers on goal-setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
5. Organizational Development
- Lead initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, including succession planning, leadership development, and talent management.
- Support change management processes to ensure smooth transitions during organizational restructuring or expansion.
6. HR Operations and Compliance
- Oversee HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity within the industry.
- Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting, including metrics on turnover, recruitment, and employee satisfaction.
7. Health, Safety, and Well-being
- Promote a culture of safety and well-being across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement programs to support employee wellness.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the aviation, transportation, or hospitality industry is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
