The Project Engineer – Mechanical will oversee and coordinate mechanical construction works, ensuring projects are delivered according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards. The role requires hands-on site supervision and strong technical problem-solving skills.
- Supervise installation of HVAC systems, piping networks, pumps, and mechanical equipment.
- Review mechanical drawings and ensure site execution aligns with approved designs.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for material and equipment requirements.
- Monitor daily site activities and subcontractor performance.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.
- Support preparation of method statements and technical submittals.
- Assist in project scheduling and tracking of milestones.
- Identify and resolve on-site technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Participate in client and consultant meetings.
- Assist in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Ensure documentation and as-built drawings are completed.
- Maintain cost awareness and avoid material wastage.
