📝 JOB DESCRIPTION – JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with construction/contracting industry experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting fundamentals, strong Excel skills, and experience handling financial documentation related to construction projects.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting and finance operations

• Prepare and maintain invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and receipts

• Record financial transactions accurately in accounting systems

• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and ledgers

• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Support monthly financial closing and reporting activities

• Track project-related expenses and cost allocations

• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems

• Coordinate with procurement, project teams, and vendors regarding financial matters

• Assist in payroll-related documentation when required

• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and financial policies

🎯 Requirements:

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce

✔ Construction/contracting industry experience is mandatory

✔ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping

✔ Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)

✔ Experience with accounting software / ERP systems preferred

✔ Good communication skills in English

✔ Attention to detail and accuracy

✔ Ability to work under deadlines
