🏭 Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented General Accountant to join a leading industrial manufacturing company in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.

📝 Key Responsibilities

✅ Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries

✅ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports

✅ Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules

✅ Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

✅ Ensure accurate and timely UAE VAT filing in compliance with FTA regulations

✅ Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and schedules

✅ Maintain fixed asset registers and process depreciation entries

✅ Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and operational departments on financial matters

✅ Ensure compliance with IFRS and company financial policies and procedures

✅ Assist with payroll accounting and related financial entries

📋 Requirements

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

✔ Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

✔ Proficiency in Tagalog (Written & Spoken) – Mandatory

✔ Strong English communication skills

✔ Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements

✔ Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting software

✔ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

✔ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

✔ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

✔ CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification (Completed or Pursuing)

✔ Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or paper production sectors

✔ Familiarity with Abu Dhabi regulatory and compliance requirements
