Skilled Trades Partners is currently seeking an experienced Carpenter for a project at the Navy Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable carpenter looking for steady work with a reputable contractor.
Responsibilities
- Install ceiling tiles and ceiling grid systems
- Perform general carpentry work and finishing tasks
- Measure, cut, and install building materials accurately
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
- Work effectively with other trades and supervisors
Requirements
- Previous carpentry experience required
- Experience with ceiling tile installation preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and work from basic layouts
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to pass a background check for Navy Shipyard access
- OSHA certification is a plus (training available)
