📋 JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose:
The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety, protection, and security of assigned premises, employees, visitors, and company assets. The role requires constant vigilance, physical readiness, and strict adherence to security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and any other security threats. The Guard must act as a visible deterrent, respond promptly to emergencies, and maintain order and discipline at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Access Control & Monitoring
- Control and manage the entry and exit of all employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering and leaving the premises.
- Check and verify identification cards, access passes, and visitor permits to ensure only authorized individuals gain entry.
- Issue visitor passes and maintain accurate visitor logs.
2. Patrol & Surveillance
- Conduct regular foot patrols of buildings, perimeters, parking areas, and other designated zones to detect any security breaches, hazards, or unusual activities.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment to identify and report suspicious behavior or incidents.
- Ensure all security equipment is functional and report any malfunctions immediately.
3. Incident Reporting & Documentation
- Remain alert and observant at all times to identify potential threats, safety hazards, or violations.
- Document all incidents, accidents, security concerns, and unusual occurrences in the daily logbook and incident reports.
- Immediately report serious incidents, emergencies, or breaches to the Security Supervisor and coordinate with management as required.
4. Emergency Response
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, including fire, medical situations, bomb threats, or security breaches.
- Follow established emergency protocols and assist in evacuations when needed.
- Cooperate fully with police, ambulance, fire, and other emergency personnel during crisis situations.
5. Safety & Discipline Enforcement
- Enforce company safety policies, discipline rules, and security procedures to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Ensure no unauthorized items, weapons, or prohibited materials are brought into the premises.
- Prevent unauthorized access to restricted, sensitive, or high-security areas.
6. Assistance & Customer Service
- Assist visitors, employees, and guests by providing basic directions, information, and guidance.
- Maintain a helpful, courteous, and professional demeanor when interacting with people, while remaining firm on security protocols.
- Respond to inquiries in a clear and professional manner.
7. Professional Standards
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance in proper uniform at all times.
- Display a disciplined, responsible, and alert attitude throughout the duty shift.
- Follow all instructions given by supervisors and management without delay.
- Uphold the reputation and values of the organization.
Performance Expectations:
- Zero security breaches due to negligence
- Timely and accurate incident reporting
- High level of alertness and observation during all patrols
- Professional conduct with all employees, visitors, and the public
- Full compliance with company policies, security procedures, and UAE regulations
- Physical readiness to respond to emergencies at any time
Working Conditions:
- 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays as per roster
- Rotational shift patterns (day/night) as assigned by management
- Work may involve indoor and outdoor postings, including gate duties
- Standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods
- Uniform and protective gear provided by the employer
🎯 CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
✅ Male candidates only
✅ Minimum 10th / 12th Pass
✅ Minimum height: 5'7"
✅ Age: Below 35 years
✅ Good English communication skills
✅ Physically fit and capable of working 12-hour shifts
✅ Good discipline, alertness, and communication skills
✅ No visible tattoos
✅ Freshers are welcome to apply
✅ Previous security experience will be an advantage
✅ Willing to work in Dubai for the full 2-year contract
