Job Summary
A leading financial services company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced External Auditor with strong Big 4 audit and assurance experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting external audits, evaluating financial information and controls, and supporting compliance with applicable accounting and reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute external audit and assurance engagements.
- Review financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation.
- Assess financial reporting processes and internal controls.
- Identify audit risks and develop appropriate audit procedures.
- Perform substantive testing and analytical review of financial information.
- Prepare detailed audit working papers and documentation.
- Identify audit findings and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Support preparation of audit reports and management recommendations.
- Ensure audit work complies with applicable professional standards and regulations.
- Work closely with clients and internal audit teams to complete engagements within agreed timelines.
Required Experience
- 4–6 years of External Audit & Assurance experience.
- Current employment with a Big 4 firm is mandatory.
- Strong experience in external audit, preferably with exposure to financial services.
- Good understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
Education & Professional Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as:
- ACCA
- CPA
- CA – India
- CA – Philippines
- CA – Sri Lanka
Relocation Requirement
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia before the end of 2026.
