Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Electric Buggy Operator to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality passenger transportation services within Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely while providing a friendly, professional,l and welcoming customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate electric buggies within designated airport areas.
- Transport passengers between terminal areas in accordance with airport safety procedures.
- Assist elderly passengers, children, PRM/passengers with reduced mobility, and passengers requiring special assistance.
- Follow designated routes, speed limits and operational guidelines.
- Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure the buggy is safe and ready for use.
- Provide friendly, professional and respectful customer service.
- Proactively identify passengers who may require assistance.
- Provide information about airport facilities such as toilets, information counters and airline offices.
- Maintain high standards of grooming and professional presentation.
- Report accidents, incidents, faults, delays and unattended items immediately.
- Coordinate with supervisors and airport operations teams.
- Attend briefings, training sessions and handover procedures.
- Follow all airport safety, security, HSQE and operational procedures.
- Work according to a shift rota covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, aviation, transportation, or a similar field.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hospitality or customer service certification is an advantage.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
- UAE or home-country driving licence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused and professional attitude.
- Ability to work with passengers from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Good patience, empathy, and conflict-resolution skills.
- High level of safety awareness and responsibility.
- Willingness to work in a shift environment.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and flexibility.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in airport operations, passenger services, hospitality, hotel transportation, chauffeur services,s or other customer-facing roles will be preferred.
