Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sound & Lights Engineer, with a primary focus on live sound, to support hotel shows, performances and entertainment events.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, test, operate, and dismantle microphones, mixers, speakers,s and monitors.
- Mix live bands, solo artists and multiple vocalists.
- Monitor audio quality and adjust sound levels during performances.
- Coordinate technical requirements with performers and the entertainment team.
- Record performances when required.
- Inspect, maintain, and safely store audio equipment.
- Identify technical faults and report maintenance requirements.
- Support other hotel departments with audiovisual requirements when needed.
- Assist with equipment inventories and stock checks.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of live sound engineering experience in FOH and/or monitor engineering.
- Proven experience mixing live bands and multiple vocalists.
- Advanced knowledge of digital and analogue mixing consoles and recording equipment.
- Understanding of acoustics for indoor and outdoor venues.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with audio software.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
