Job Summary
Provide first- and second-line technical support for devices, software, networks and user accounts, ensuring reliable IT services and maintaining security and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
- Install, configure and update operating systems and approved software.
- Manage user accounts, email access, passwords and permissions.
- Support LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers and access points.
- Log, prioritise and resolve helpdesk requests within agreed timeframes.
- Perform maintenance, backups, updates and system health checks.
- Support meeting-room AV, video-conferencing and presentation equipment.
- Maintain IT asset and software licence inventories.
- Support staff onboarding, offboarding and device handovers.
- Coordinate repairs, connectivity issues and warranty claims with vendors.
- Document procedures and solutions while protecting sensitive information.
Required Skills
- Practical knowledge of Windows/macOS, Microsoft Office, email systems and basic networking.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Understanding of access control, backups, antivirus and phishing awareness.
- Ability to prioritise multiple requests and work independently.
- Professionalism, integrity and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or certification in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals or equivalent certification.
- 2–4 years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably in hospitality, luxury estates, FM or a similar service environment.
- Basic server administration, backup solutions and Microsoft 365 knowledge is an advantage.
