Hiring Now: Accounts Payable Accountant – Oil & Gas Industry

We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance team in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical sector.

🔹 Position: Accounts Payable Accountant (Plus FAT)

🔹 Salary: OMR 9000 (Negotiable)

🔹 Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Assist and perform various activities related to the Accounts Payable sub-ledger.

Coordinate internally with the Disbursement Coordinator and Sr. Payables Officer.

Communicate externally with Vendors and Suppliers for payment and documentation follow-up.

Support accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of payables transactions.

Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and accounting standards.

Decision-Making Authority:

All key decisions with a significant impact on the Accounts Payable section are referred to the Sr. Payables Officer for approval before implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:

🎓 Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Accounting or related field

💼 Minimum Experience: 3 years (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry preferred)

Skills & Competencies:

Advanced financial analysis and SAP skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Strong command of Arabic and English

High attention to detail and analytical mindset

Understanding of statutory and legal considerations

Proactive problem-solving approach
