Administrative Assistant / Administrator (Admin)

Overview:

An Administrative Assistant provides crucial clerical and organizational support to ensure an office or department runs smoothly. They handle a wide variety of tasks, including scheduling, communication, record-keeping, and project support, serving as the informational and operational hub for their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage executives' calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; greet visitors.
File and retrieve documents and maintain both electronic and hard copy filing systems.
Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Organize meetings, including arranging catering, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Support other staff with various administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration is a plus.
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
