Reporting To: Bell Captain / FO Supervisor

Shift: Rotating Shifts

Job Summary:

The Bell Attendant plays a crucial role in creating a memorable arrival and departure experience. This position is responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, providing information about the hotel, and offering courteous and prompt service that makes guests feel welcomed and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Luggage Handling: Greet guests upon arrival at the hotel entrance or lobby. Safely transport guest luggage to and from rooms, vehicles, and storage areas.
Room Orientation: Accompany guests to their rooms, explaining room features, amenities, and operating controls (AC, TV, safe, etc.).
Information & Delivery Services: Provide general information about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation. Deliver items such as messages, packages, newspapers, or additional amenities to guest rooms as requested.
Valet & Concierge Assistance: Coordinate with the valet for guest vehicles (where applicable). Perform basic concierge duties like hailing taxis, providing directions, and making simple local recommendations.
Lobby & Entrance Presence: Maintain a clean and orderly lobby and entrance area. Offer a visible, friendly, and helpful presence to arriving and departing guests.
Miscellaneous Duties: May assist with minor errands, meeting room setup, or shuttle services as needed.

Qualifications:

Physically fit and able to lift heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
Exceptional customer service orientation with a friendly and outgoing personality.
Good knowledge of the local area.
Professional, well-groomed appearance.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
