Job Summary:

We require an experienced and precise Carpenter specializing in high-end custom furniture and interior fit-out joinery. The successful candidate will work on-site and in the workshop to create, install, and repair bespoke woodwork that meets our design specifications and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Construct custom-made furniture (e.g., cabinetry, tables, wardrobes, wall paneling) from detailed workshop drawings.
Execute on-site fit-out installation for residential and commercial interiors, including built-in joinery and millwork.
Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and 3D visuals.
Perform precise measuring, marking, cutting, shaping, and assembling of wood and other materials (MDF, veneers, laminates).
Install fittings, hardware, and fixtures with high accuracy.
Conduct furniture repair, modifications, and finishing (sanding, priming, polishing).
Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
Coordinate with site managers, upholsterers, and installers to ensure seamless project execution.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 3-5 years of proven carpentry and joinery experience, specifically in furniture making and interior fit-out within the UAE.
Technical Skills:
Excellent craftsmanship in joinery, cabinetry, and furniture assembly.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and taking precise measurements.
Skilled in using hand/power tools (saws, routers, planers, sanders) and machinery.
Knowledge of wood types, materials, and appropriate joinery techniques.
Personal Attributes:
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to precision.
Strong problem-solving abilities for custom fabrication and on-site challenges.
Good physical condition and ability to work on ladders and at heights for fit-outs.
Team player with reliable time management.
Preferred: Own basic tool kit. Valid UAE driver's license is advantageous for site visits.
