We are seeking an experienced Data Architect / Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design and delivery of a large-scale Data Lake initiative. This is a techno-functional leadership role that requires strong architectural expertise, hands-on technical capability, and the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders while leading high-performing data teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect enterprise-level Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
Lead end-to-end data platform strategy, architecture, and implementation.
Define data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) aligned with business needs.
Develop and oversee ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Drive architecture decisions and establish best practices.
Lead and mentor data engineers and ETL developers.
Review and optimize SQL queries and data processing workflows.
Design scalable and high-performance data integration frameworks.
Ensure seamless integration between multiple source systems.
Manage data migration and transformation initiatives.
Provide technical leadership during solution design and deployment phases.
Participate in client discussions and present architectural solutions.
Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies.
Establish CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
Define standards for metadata management and documentation.
Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance frameworks.
Support production issue resolution and root cause analysis.
Drive continuous improvement in data platform capabilities.
Work closely with cloud and infrastructure teams when applicable.
Ensure timely delivery within project scope and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10–15 years of strong experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture.
Extensive hands-on expertise in ETL/ELT development and data integration.
Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
Strong experience designing and implementing large-scale Data Lake architectures.
Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Client-facing experience in techno-functional roles.
Hands-on experience in ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) is a strong advantage.
Experience in the Insurance domain is a plus.
