Position: E&I Specialist

Reporting to: E&I Supervisor / Senior Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The E&I Specialist provides advanced technical support for the maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and DCS systems. This role focuses on complex problem-solving, system optimization, and ensuring the reliability of control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair complex instrumentation loops, control valves, and DCS/PLC hardware/software issues.
Perform configuration changes, loop checks, and system diagnostics on the DCS and associated subsystems.
Implement minor control logic modifications under an MOC process.
Support the planning and execution of turnarounds for the E&I scope.
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability.
Maintain detailed records of system configurations, changes, and failures.
Provide guidance to E&I Technicians on complex repairs.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and DCS maintenance.
Strong proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring DCS/PLC systems.
Ability to interpret complex logic diagrams, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
Solid understanding of industrial communication networks and protocols.
