About the Role

We are a leading interior fit-out company seeking an experienced and hands-on Factory Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. You will be the key driver on the shop floor, responsible for translating design drawings into high-quality finished products, ensuring efficiency, and leading our production team to meet critical project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management: Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to ensure workflow is smooth and efficient.
Team Leadership: Directly supervise factory staff, including carpenters, joiners, and helpers. Provide guidance, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Quality & Accuracy Control: Ensure all work is executed precisely as per approved shop drawings and specifications. Implement rigorous quality checks at every stage of production.
Deadline Adherence: Monitor progress against project schedules and take proactive measures to ensure on-time completion and delivery of fit-out elements.
Technical Coordination: Act as the crucial link between the Project Management and Design teams. Clarify drawing details and ensure manufacturability.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all company safety policies and UAE regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized factory environment.
Resource Management: Oversee the proper use of machinery, tools, and raw materials. Assist in inventory control and minimizing waste.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in a supervisory role within a joinery or interior fit-out manufacturing facility in the UAE/GCC.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of joinery, woodwork, fit-out materials, production processes, and machinery.
Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
Attention to Detail: Excellent eye for detail with an uncompromising commitment to quality and precision.
Communication: Strong communication and coordination skills to interact effectively with workshop staff, project managers, and designers.
Problem-Solver: Ability to identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot production issues, and implement effective solutions.
Safety-First Mindset: Thorough knowledge of workshop safety standards and best practices.
